BRAZING
We specialize in brazing, also known as hard soldering.
Brazing is a technique used to join two identical or dissimilar pieces of metal, using a different metal (called filler metal) to the one making up the parts to be joined.
In brazing, the melting temperature of the filler metals exceeds 450°C.
In particular, we work with filler metals made from 70% silver, whose melting point is around 700°C.
In our brazing department, we use two distinct technologies: flame brazing and induction brazing.
Flame brazing: This method enables us to braze complex shapes or large parts that would be difficult to automate. The simplicity of flame brazing also makes it an ideal option for small and medium-sized production runs.
Induction brazing: This technology is specially designed to meet the needs of large production runs. It uses a magnetic field to generate a rise in temperature, enabling the parts to be assembled to be heated and the filler metal to be melted efficently and repeatedly.
All our brazers are ISO 13585 certified – 08.2012 + 11.2012
